Thyreon Counter-UAS System

Thyreon counter-UAS radar, EO/IR tracker and net-interceptor drones

Thyreon is a fully integrated Counter-UAS providing end-to-end drone threat defeat: 4D radar detection, RF signal intelligence, EO/thermal tracking, RF jamming (soft kill), and autonomous net-based or kinetic interception (hard kill). Deployable in fixed as well as vehicle-mounted configurations, it protects critical infrastructure, military bases, borders, and airports against drone threats ranging from nano-UAVs to small tactical systems. Thyreon supports integration with Akashteer (ASTERIX CAT 48/62 protocol) and operates across all Indian terrain types.

Key Differentiators

  • Full kill-chain in one system: Detect → Track → Identify → Jam → Intercept
  • 4D cognitive MESA® radar — adaptive waveform, >40 simultaneous tracks, ECCM-capable
  • Dual interceptor types: net-based (capture) and kinetic (defeat) — operator selects
  • RF jamming layer (soft kill) — operates independently or in concert with interceptors
  • Modular architecture: subsystems independently replaceable and upgradeable
  • Vehicle-mounted or fixed deployment — adapts to any installation requirement
  • Reusable net interceptor — reduces operational cost per engagement
  • Detection:5–10 Km Typical · Up To 30 Km
  • Tracks:> 40 Simultaneous Targets
  • AkashteerCompatible — ASTERIX CAT 48/62

Use Cases

Military Base Protection
Persistent 360° drone detection and automated interception to protect forward operating bases and cantonments.
Border Security
Long-range radar detection + EO identification of drone incursions along border areas — direct Akashteer integration.
Airport / Critical Infrastructure
Jamming + net-based capture to defeat drone threats without kinetic risk in civilian-proximate environments.
Counter-Swarm
> 40 simultaneous radar tracks enable multi-threat engagement; GCS controls interceptor sorties sequentially.
Event / VIP Protection
Rapid vehicle-mounted deployment for temporary high-security perimeter protection.
Naval Shore Facilities
Fixed installation protecting harbour, dockyard, and naval air station from drone reconnaissance and attack.
